WHAT IS DNA TEST?
DNA test is a simple and non-invasive way to learn more about your genetic makeup. It involves collecting a sample of your DNA, usually through a saliva and analyzing it for specific genetic markers.
DNA test provides information on genetic markers associated with various health conditions, allowing for informed decisions about health and wellness. With this knowledge, lifestyle changes can be made or early detection and prevention measures can be sought out. The test also provides insights on individual risk for conditions like heart disease, cancer, and genetic disorders, as well as how the body may respond to certain medications. Additionally, potential genetic conditions or disorders that may be passed down to children can be identified, informing family planning decisions.
