WHAT IS DNA TEST?

No, your results will not be affected by the type of sample you provide, as both saliva and blood contain the same DNA. Therefore, the same DNA will generate the same report regardless of the sample type.
Once you take a DNA test, you don't need to take it again as your DNA remains the same throughout your lifetime.
HOW IS THE PROCESS OF DNA TESTING?
The process for DNA testing involves collecting a sample of DNA, through saliva sample, and sending it to laboratory for analysis. The laboratory will then use PRS technology to analyze the DNA and generate a report of the results.
The Supergenix DNA test can be taken at any 48 Pathlab (Supergenix) branches nationwide.
You should bring along your Malaysia NRIC or passport for foreigners.
The entire process will takes about 15-20 minutes
The report takes 21-30 workings days from the time your sample is collected. You will be notified when your hardcopy report is ready. We will schedule an appointment for your DNA report briefing. The report briefing by Supergenix is complimentary.
A certified genetic counsellor will be recommended only if necessary based on your test report. The session with the genetic counsellor is an online session and is chargeable at RM150 an hour.
Our DNA Test are not medical reports and should not be used for diagnostic purposes. However, we do recommend that you consult with a healthcare professional if you have any concerns about, for example, your sensitivities or risks so that you may create an actionable plan with them.
